The nachos were stacked and super tasty, with just the right amount of everything (none of that sad chip-only layer at the bottom). Also, shoutout to the bar staff — they were awesome. “ Wow! Ok so let me start by saying i went here ONE time, sat at the bar.. ordered a Bud light & a plater of wings with four different flavor of wing on it. Best wings & nicest servers\bartenders on all of 58 at the very least. So fast forward about 312 weeks! I just got off work & went to the bar. It happened to be the same bartender & she looked @ me & smiled as i sat down she was already setting a Bud light in front of me. I thought, "heck yea, she remembered what i drink" but this was just the tip of the ice burg. She proceeded to to name off all 4 flavors of wings that i ordered almost a month beforehand & asked if thats what i wanted again. I was so shocked & amazed i just said "yes!" (Although i wanted to try something new) I knew there was no way i could go wrong ordering those again. It was a different server that brought them out to me this time, but she was almost nicer than the bartender! & She came with such haste! I probably waited under ten minutes! These are people that love their jobs & take pleasing the customer to a whole new level. I definitely recommend Sweeney's & be on the lookout for me because I'm most definitely going back! ”

“ Sweeney's has been in the same location forever! And when I say forever, I mean I first went there in 1970 something! It's a hometown place that serves great BBQ. Very reasonably priced.The potato salad is awesome! Love it! The sweet tea was just sweet enough. Great service, too. When you see a bunch of guys inside eating lunch, you know you're in the right place! ”

“ Me and my mom can split almost any of the lunch items they are such large portions. The loaded chicken salad is only 8 and the burger with french fries is 7. And we don't eat wings, but another table ordered them and they looked and smelt amazing going by, 8 wings for 6 is a great deal! This is such a small family run diner that you can feel the authenticity of it's history. You can tell which servers have experience and those that are still trying to learn and grow but they are all just so welcoming. I think they've been around for about 60 or so years and they sponsor the local ball teams which also feels like our money is going back to the community. Thank you Sweeney's!! ”
